Policies/Ethical policy

- Please note that all the items in the shop are made to order and can take 2-3 weeks before being shipped. 

Once your order has shipped, I will send you a confirmation note.

- Shipping includes a tracking ID.

 - EU customers should expect to receive their item between 3 - 7 days.

 - Once the order has been shipped international customers can expect to receive their order between 10 - 21 days, unless they are delayed by Customs.

- Anu Tera is not responsible for lost or stolen mail.

- Any taxes, duties, fees, etc upon delivery are the responsibility of the buyer. 

REFUNDS

 - Most of our items are handmade for the individual customer.

We do not issue refunds unless an item is defective or it's not custom-made .

EXCHANGES

- We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@anutera.com

 - Items must be sent via a trackable method.

 - We cannot be held responsible for goods that may be lost or damaged during return shipping, so please ensure all items being returned are securely packaged with protective wrapping and clearly addressed. Any items not thoroughly packaged to avoid damage during transit will not be accepted, so please take care when posting.

 VARIANCE IN CRYSTALS

 - Crystals naturally vary in color and size. Your piece will bear individual characteristics and although equally as beautiful and unique, will vary slightly from the photograph. 

 We are regrettably not able to exchange for a different piece based on the characteristics of crystals.

ETHICAL POLICY

We only use Italian Vegetable tanned leather.

• No animal is killed for its skin. On the contrary, the raw hides used by our tanneries are the discarded by-products of the food industry producing meat for human consumption.
• Being tanned with natural tannins, a vegetable-tanned leather object can be easily disposed of at the end of its life, thanks to its chemical-biological characteristics.
• Many of the substances used during the tanning process are recovered, recycled and reused in different fields. Hair removed from raw hides is transformed into agricultural fertilizer; sludge produced by the depuration plants is reused in the construction field to make bricks.
• Vegetable-tanned leather, recognizable from its trademark, does not contain any toxic substance such as azo-dyes, nickel, PCP or chrome VI

Vegetable-tanned leather absorbs the traces of our life, it matures and transforms with the passage of time.
The natural ageing does not compromise its qualities, it is a rare material that actually improves with use.
It embodies the signs of time and use as the most personal expression of naturalness and truth.
